My name is Donald Bruns. I'm a 37-year-old User Experience professional and CMS Wonk. I live with my wife in a cozy, blue Victorian in the Moorestown, New Jersey.

My wife and I own three cats, two huskies, and a starling named Gonzo. As you might expect, I am constantly picking fur off of my clothes. And the occasional feather.

In my spare time, I build furniture. I'm currently working on a mahogany mission style sofa to replace the one the huskies ate.

I am also a certified Krav Maga instructor. But don't worry – I'm only dangerous to myself.

Teaching comes very naturally to me, whether the topic is Information Architecture, Content Management, or the finer points of Israeli hand-to-hand combat.

I have an innate ability to connect with and energize an audience, to get them interested in a topic, to explain complex material in a way that is accessible to them.

If the internet hadn't come along when it did, I probably would've become either the college English professor everybody liked, or the the high school vice principal you didn't want to get sent to.
